On Friday, 30 October 2026, the South Tyrol Planetarium in Gummer will become the setting for an extraordinary concert experience: multiple Grammy- and Emmy-nominated US guitarist David Becker will present his show PLANETS as part of the Steinegg Live Festival.

Music and the cosmos merge into an audiovisual journey through our solar system. Becker combines live-played and improvised guitar passages with electronic sound worlds and layered soundscapes. Accompanied by projections of the cosmos, the result is a concert that moves between jazz, improvisation, electronics and astronomy.

With PLANETS, David Becker takes the audience on a musical expedition in which individual guitar sounds repeatedly expand into entire soundscapes – perfectly suited to the unique atmosphere of the planetarium and the star village of Gummer.
