Steinegg Live Cultural Association
Behind Steinegg Live is an association run entirely by volunteers: from the festival and the children’s and youth theatre group to the Steinegg Live Big Band, we bring culture to Steinegg.
Together for culture
The Steinegg Live cultural association is dedicated to promoting cultural life in Steinegg. Its best-known project is the Steinegg Live Festival, which brings music, cabaret and theatre to the Steinegg cultural centre every autumn. But the association is active throughout the year as well: in spring, the small blues concert series “Steinegg Live InBlues” offers intimate evenings with a limited number of seats, while summer regularly brings further concerts, most recently also in collaboration with the Eggental Tourism Association.
The association places particular importance on supporting young people and fostering music. Every year, the Steinegg Live children’s and youth theatre group develops a new production and brings it to the stage during the festival. The Steinegg Live Big Band has also been part of the association since autumn 2013.
All of this is organised on a voluntary basis: no one in the association receives an allowance or reimbursement of expenses. The work is only possible thanks to the many volunteers from Steinegg who help support the events, projects and the life of the association.
Board
The board consists of Konrad Mahlknecht (Chair), Arnold Lunger (Deputy Chair), Klemens Riegler, Karmen Lantschner, Manuel Weger, Jasmin Basso, Armin Rottensteiner and Hannes Lantschner.
Sponsors and funding bodies
A heartfelt thank you to all sponsors and funding bodies who support Steinegg Live and its wide range of cultural activities. Alongside income from events, sponsorships and public funding provide an important foundation for the association’s work.
