Steinegg Live “InBlues”

Every spring, usually after Easter, we open what you might call the back door of the Steinegg cultural centre. At “Steinegg Live InBlues”, the curtain stays closed because the concert takes place behind it. For a few evenings, we turn the stage into a small blues club, with the audience sitting right there together with the musicians — up close and on the same level. We have been organising this slightly different concert series since 2009, because above all, it is about one thing for us: experiencing the blues together.

Musically, it is all about going back to the roots. Mostly unplugged or semi-acoustic, our guests perform blues in all its different forms. We bring renowned musicians from abroad to Steinegg, invite South Tyrolean artists who are rarely seen live, and also give bands from our own village a place on stage. And when the evening really gets going, it often ends in a jam session. Seats are very limited, so reservations are always required. It is best to be quick, as the evenings often sell out in no time!
